**Opportunity**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work with residents to understand their needs, help them find the energy reduction strategy that works best for them, while also working with our structural engineers to provide economical solutions
- Conduct residential energy evaluations consisting of measuring the dimensions and volume of a home, windows and doors, checking insulation levels from the basement to the attic, examining HVAC systems, and performing blower door tests
- Explain program details, potential upgrades, and rebates to clients
- Prepare and provide reports and labels to client
- Organize, update, and submit electronic file documentation
- Identify insulation levels throughout all areas of the home/building
- Record the size and efficiency ratings of space heating, space cooling, and water heating equipment
- Note the home/building’s ventilation equipment
- Test for air tightness via use of a blower door test
- Energy modelling, report development, and advising the client of recommended and effective upgrades within their budget

**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**
- NRCan-registered Energy Advisor with 4+ years of experience
- Driven to improve and grow the business
- Ability to work with the structural engineer assigned to the project, ensuring that the solutions are within the clients’ expectations
- Ability to ensure all deadlines are met
- Ability to coordinate with the Project Management team to maintain a flow of information
- Ability to keep accurate filing systems
- Ability to follow corporate policies and procedures
- Self-starter with the ability to work with mínimal direction, while also following company standards
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Valid driver’s license with own vehicle and insurance
- The ability to climb ladders, maneuver into tight spaces, and lift 50 lbs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
