**Job Duties**:

- Coordinates office administration services, such as creating and modifying administrative policies, processes, and services, for the workplace.
- Provides information to parents, students, and the public in response to phone and in-person enquiries, functioning as a resource or point of contact for the school and relaying messages.
- Coordinates the student/patron information system, which includes tasks like entering data, interviewing people to collect data, confirming reports and information, making necessary corrections as needed, and giving reports as needed.
- Creates, maintains, and files a variety of records, lists, and reports for the school.
- Designs, composes and types materials and documents, as required, and edits and formats documents as requested
- Maintains connected accounts, including collecting money, issuing receipts and checks, depositing money, balancing month-end accounts, reconciling bank accounts, and generating reports as needed.
- Establishes and maintains financial records; checks and enters account transactions to make sure they are appropriate, correctly categorised, and have the necessary supporting documentation to satisfy District and Government accounting requirements.
- Ensures that supplies and equipment are available by investigating products, prices, and suppliers, starting and authorizing online purchase requests as directed by the Principal, and using the proper payment methods as specified in established policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Provides information for review and approval by the Principal on employment related matters including monitoring and editing the weekly absence management system and verifying CUPE timesheets as required.
- Creates and distributes agendas for meetings, keeps minutes, and schedules appointments on the principal's calendar.
- Helps in the planning of special events, like as open houses, parent-teacher interviews, and guest lecturers.
- Provides student supervision in the office in the temporary absence of the teacher or administrator.
- Provides assistance to students/patrons in the case of injury or illness and performs assigned duties during fire/earthquake drills and other crisis situations.
- Carries out other tasks that are temporary, similar, or assigned and that fall inside the knowledge and skill requirements of this profession.

**Salary**: $26.50-$27.50 per hour
