Marketing Internship

Blonyx is a North Vancouver based sports nutrition brand for people with athletic ambition. We provide performance products to ambitious athletes of all sports across N.America and the UK, but with a particular focus on the pacific north west.

Our mission is to help as many people as possible achieve their athletic ambition. This goes beyond the products we sell as we offer an industry-leading sports nutrition experience entirely focused on helping the athletes we serve.

We are currently searching for a Marketing intern to join us in our mission, who will help us build our reputation, customer base and partnership base in the sea-to-sky region.

Your focus will be to help us create a market-leading experience for potential and existing customers who interact with our brand, regardless of which channel they arrive through. You'll also help us build our brand locally using various digital strategies.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Working as part of our marketing team, the role will have the following responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities
- Help nurture referrals by helping to create incentive programs for customers
- Help increase AOV and LTV by helping to market other products to our existing products
- Help build the Blonyx brand in the lower mainland through events, content creation, social media and through partnerships
- Help us scale to other cities and regions by figuring out what marketing works to increase traction and transferring it
- Help launch new products through campaign-based marketing

This is a unique marketing role in that, although junior, you'll have exposure to many aspects of marketing, from branding, strategy and product marketing to all sorts fo on and offline tactics. It's ideal for someone who wants to ultimately get into a strategic B2C marketing role, perhaps as a CMO or even company founder.

Qualifications and experience
- A degree in marketing, business or another digital/technical discipline (applicants without must demonstrate applied experience in this field)
- 1 year experience in a marketing role, ideally in consumer goods / B2C
- A good understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing, especially multi-channel or omnichannel
- Can demonstrate an understanding tactical and strategic marketing (at an academic level)
- An understanding of project management

**Salary**: $45,000+ pro rata

This role will require you to be in our North Vancouver office 1-2 days a week to spend time with the team in person.

After spending years conducting research on sports supplements Rowan was shocked to discover how many low-quality, un-tested products were on the market. Being an athlete Rowan understood the trust athletes place in supplement brands to help them achieve their goals, so set out to create a brand that respected that trust and provided products focused entirely on improving or supporting performance.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
