Latem industries is a manufacturing facility located on Struck Court in Cambridge Ontario. The day shift runs 6:30am-3pm monday to friday. Please note that the bus does not get you here for 6:30. You must have your own transportation. You must be physically fit and able to bend/lift repeatedly. It can be a warm work environment in the summer.

The duties include: The Backup Lead Hand helps manage the workflow and functions of a team. They assist the Leadhand with all aspects of the job, and cover for the Leadhand when they are off. They also work on the line with the team doing general labour duties.

**Manufacturing and Leadership experience is a MUST.**

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Supervise your team/department.
- Do all quality checks and ensure they are accurate
- Complete paperwork, data entry, etc, ensuring accuracy.
- Pack/load/offload parts, ensuring the tooling is full for efficiency
- Learn and know all aspects of the department/line and each job associated with it.
- Assist with training and development of your team.
- Meet all requirements for, and follow all process instructions.
- Work in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures.
- Proper housekeeping and problem solving.
- Inputting data into the system database.
- Work in a safe manner and ensure all your team does as well.
- Train new staff (temps included) in all areas of the department/line.
