**Job Summary**:
The dishwasher is a position that provides support to restaurant and staff while offering fundamental training and experience to the employee. The dishwasher maintains high standards for cleanliness by washing tableware, kitchen items and performing other cleaning tasks as assigned, such as assisting with food preparations. The dishwasher must be organized, follow all proper sanitation procedures and policies, will store all dishware properly, log and record any breakage for reporting to the sous chef.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean and store all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, serving items and equipment as per the approved food safe guide.
- Operate and maintain the dishwasher and check all items for cleanliness
- dishwasher must be cleaned properly (racks removed) as per standards daily.
- Must sweep & mop entire kitchen several times a day to maintain cleanliness
- Assist in unloading and organizing daily food delivery
- Clean the garbage area, sort & organize trash
- Assist with food preparation and food deliveries to clients as required

**Qualifications**:

- Able to read and write in English fluently
- Valid food safe handling certification.
- A current (within 6 months) Police Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- All applicants who receive an offer of employment must be eligible to work in Canada. Proof of eligibility must be current and valid (not expired, cancelled or voided)
- Trico LivingWell provides care for at-risk client population, and we are committed to keeping our residents and staff safe. All employees are required to be vaccinated against both COVID and the influenza variants. **Schedule**:Saturday - Sunday 1pm to 9pm, flexibility for shifts during the week as well
