**Quality Assurance Lead**

The **Quality Assurance Lead** ensures Lux Windows and Doors delivers top-tier products with mínimal defects, driving continuous improvement and upholding our reputation as a best-in-class manufacturer. By managing the Quality Management System (QMS), conducting audits, and integrating customer feedback, this role plays a key part in optimizing costs, reducing waste, and exceeding industry standards.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Develop and maintain the Corporate Quality Management System (QMS) and its supporting documents, procedures, processes, and metrics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to continually improve the QMS and Lux’s quality processes.
- Conduct quality audits on Lux products, including field, incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections.
- Perform quality testing and maintain accurate Quality records to meet internal and external expectations.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Service & Warranty teams to train personnel on quality inspections and data collection.
- Document nonconforming material clearly and accurately.
- Support the Supply Chain Management team in reviewing and auditing new supplier quality standards and processes.
- Establish and maintain quality standards with current suppliers to ensure mínimal defects in raw materials.
- Work with Sales and Service & Warranty teams to collect and utilize customer feedback for product quality improvement.
- Support the continual improvement of Engineering Drawings and Bill of Materials data.
- Assist with engineering initiatives and activities as needed.
- Manage and support the growth of the Quality Department.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Technical Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Minimum 10 years of previous experience in quality management and assurance roles in a manufacturing environment.
- Fenestration industry knowledge is a definite plus.
- Knowledge of quality control techniques and tools for physical examination and measurement.
- Familiarity with ISO standards.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems:

- Strong understanding of quality management principles and methodologies.
- Experience in enhancing and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS).
- Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures, including conducting quality audits.
- Ability to be hands-on and actively engage in quality assurance activities.
- Willingness to work directly with production personnel, both indoors and outdoors, to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ability to communicate effectively with production personnel to understand their challenges and incorporate their input into quality initiatives.
- Aptitude for practical problem-solving and troubleshooting on the shop floor.
