The Sales Associate is the main point of contact and source of information for our customers. Our Sales Associates are knowledgeable, friendly and able to establish a connection with each customer; whether they be medical, recreational, or first time users. The Sales Associate must be empathetic towards all and have a strong willingness to find out what our customers’ needs are. With their cannabis experience and in-depth product knowledge, they will ultimately guide the customer through their purchase, helping them acquire whats best suited for their needs.

We are a very busy dispensary and the Sales Associate must thrive in a fast paced environment. It is not a job that can be done sitting down. As such, a Sales Associate must be comfortable standing for extended periods, while maintaining accurate attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Open your till and balance it at closing
- Process customers’ transactions through our POS system
- Respond to any customer inquiries or concerns as they arise
- Participate and support an environment of genuine customer connection
- Maintain the cleanliness of our Sales Associate stations and behind-the-counter areas
- Compliance with all company policies and operating procedures
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
- Refer customers with medical needs to our medical membership program

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of retail sales experience an asset
- A strong cannabis knowledge and a passion for working in the industry is an asset
- Friendly and outgoing team player with a positive attitude
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Able to stand for extended periods, move up and down stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience with cash handling and POS systems
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Available to work weekends and holidays

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 32 per week
