Parkville Manor is a locally owned and operated company placed in the heart of Saskatoon. We are currently seeking exceptional individuals to fill a part time Housekeeper position. We take pride in providing our elderly residents with quality care, sensitivity, and kindness while respecting their independence.

**Job Requirements**

We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This role has direct involvement with the elderly; excellent communication skills and command of the English language. Individuals need to be able to clean resident as well as guest rooms accordingly to Parkville Manor standards. This position requires standing for the majority of the shift and requires the ability to lift at least 20lbs.

**Responsibilities**
- Performs housekeeping duties in the resident suites and common areas of the building
- Disposes of trash and waste, other materials in a safe manner.
- Wash and folds laundry as assigned
- Demonstrates knowledge of and respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of each resident
- Able to understand and to follow written and verbal directions
- Understand proper use of community equipment

**Qualifications**
- Must be able to communicate effectively (written and orally) with residents, families and staff
- Must be able to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to respond productively and to handle additional tasks/projects as assigned
- Ability to detect odors and see spots and spills
- Ability to move housekeeping cart with cleaning equipment
- Must be able to work Sundays

**Visa Requirements: Must currently live in Canada and legally eligible to work in Canada.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $14.00-$14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 25 per week
