Construction Project Manager

Metro Vancouver Regional District, Canada Empire Masonry Ltd. Full time

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in construction - related studies
- Must have a strong understanding of the masonry industry
- 5 + years of experience in commercial construction industry in Canada
- Must have a strong understanding of construction project management and be able to oversee the entire project lifecycle from start to finish.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep them on track.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high stress levels.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with standard construction contracts and contractual terms and practices
- A high degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability
- Highly self-motivated, directed and accountable

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Ensure the successful planning, management, and completion of multiple projects on time, and on budget through strong collaboration and communication.

Establish, manage and update accurate project scope and budget

Prepare, track and maintain all project documents.

Attend site meetings and communicate back to management.

Manage all construction concerns from clients.

Obtain and review weekly progress reports from foremen.

Review, issue and proactively update schedules

Order materials

Review and manage cost reporting and financial projections for projects

Work proactively and collaboratively with the Site Superintendents to ensure successful execution and completion of each project.

Work closely with our estimator and office manager

Conduct, manage and respond to regular quality control work inspections and site visits

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
