**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Cut and prepare ingredients for sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards, make sure there is enough prep for daily usage.
- Make orders as they are received for dine-in and takeout.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality by conducting regular inventory checks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi preparation area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering orders as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is REQUIRED.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with sushi preparation techniques and ingredients is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
