**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Cut and prepare ingredients for Tempura and Deep Fried dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards, make sure there is enough prep for daily usage.
- Operate and monitor the deep fryer, ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures, performing regular cleaning and maintenance of the fryer, adhering to food safety standards, and managing the work station to ensure orders are processed efficiently
- Make orders as they are received for dine-in and takeout.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality by conducting regular inventory checks.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering orders as needed.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is REQUIRED.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with Deep-fryer techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
