Johnnie Fox's is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic bartender to join our team.

As a bartender, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and recommending beverages based on their preferences. Engage with patrons in a friendly and attentive manner all the while creating a welcoming environment.

**Beverage Preparation**: Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including traditional Irish drinks such as Guinness, Irish whiskey, and Irish coffee. Ensure that drinks are made accurately, efficiently, and in adherence to established recipes and quality standards.

**Bar Operations**: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking the bar with supplies, garnishes, and utensils. Keep an inventory of beverages and ingredients, and place orders to replenish stock when necessary. Adhere to health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.

**Cash Handling**: Process customer payments accurately, using the point-of-sale system. Handle cash transactions, provide change, and process credit card payments. Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile it at the end of each shift.

**Knowledge of Menu**: Develop a deep understanding of the bar's menu, including drink offerings, specials, and promotions. Provide detailed descriptions of beverages to customers, answer questions about ingredients and preparation methods, and make recommendations based on customer preferences.

**Customer Engagement**: Foster a friendly and engaging atmosphere by interacting with customers, learning their names and preferences, and building rapport. Proactively address any customer concerns or complaints, ensuring prompt resolution to maintain a positive customer experience.

**Cleanliness and Maintenance**: Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment. Regularly clean bar surfaces, floors, and restock necessary supplies. Assist in routine maintenance and report any equipment malfunctions to management.

**Qualifications**:
**Bartending Experience**: Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment is a must. Familiarity with Irish drinks and knowledge of their preparation is beneficial.

**Beverage Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of various types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including spirits, wines, and beers. Understanding of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, and garnishing.

**Customer Service Skills**: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns effectively.

**Multitasking and Time Management**: Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining efficiency and accuracy. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.

**Team Player**: Willingness to work collaboratively with other staff members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

**Flexibility**: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the bar's operational hours.
