**Job description**

Scholten's Machinery Inc. is a company that has been serving the agricultural market since 2012. We offer various European farm equipment, a wide inventory of PTO parts, hydraulics and Stihl products.

**We are seeking an entry level Parts Assistant with a**_**strong**_ **agricultural background, hydraulic knowledge, as well as**_**solid**_**knowledge of lawn, garden and construction type machinery.**

**Job Duties**
- Assist with the daily functions of the parts department, including sourcing, and ordering parts
- Track and maintain all inventory levels, purchase orders, database maintenance and physical inventory counts
- Work in direct collaboration with the Parts Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal/external jobs
- Handle incoming/outgoing shipments
- Fill customer orders, invoicing, quoting, processing payments
- Coordinate a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork
- Must be able to create, maintain and catch potential order/inventory errors on PO's
- Must be comfortable driving work vehicles to assist with customer deliveries and parts pickups
- Keep parts department organized, clean and safe at all times
- Other duties as assigned - aiding other departments as needed

**Qualifications**
- Agricultural background strongly preferred
- Knowledge of PTOs, Hydraulics, Farm Equipment a strong asset
- Knowledge of Stihl products or similar lawn/garden product lines strongly preferred
- 1 year experience minimum in similar role
- Extreme attention to detail and critical thinking required
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication & motivational skills
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a _very_ fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift heavy parts
- Computer skills required - Microsoft Office Suite knowledge, invoicing software
- Ability to work under EXTREME pressure and with limited deadlines
- Time Management Skills
- Work professionally with all personalities and situations
- Good problem-solving skills
- Highly reliable, organized and self-motivated with a professional attitude
- Have a valid Driver’s License
- Wage will depend on experience

Hours approximately 7:30am-5:00pm Mon-Fri

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
