**Join Our Team**

We are looking for a hardworking and organized team member to join us in the role of **Purchasing & Receiving Coordinator.** In this position, you will process all orders for supplies, meet with couriers as deliveries are made, unload pallets from larger delivery vehicles and store them in the appropriate section of the warehouse. You must ensure all of the necessary inventory is present, report any issues, and make sure that the products are readily available to all members of the of the procurement team.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Unload shipments from trucks
- Content & condition Inspections of delivered product
- Verify packages according to order and invoices
- Store inventory in the correct areas of the warehouse
- Count all incoming inventory and report issues to the procurement team
- Keep the warehouse organized
- Inventory management of warehouse
- Responsible for processing purchase orders and maintaining the order database
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure pricing, quality and on-time deliveries
- Follow up purchase orders and delivery arrangement in order to support daily operations
- Execute profitable purchasing strategies and negotiate pricing agreement with suppliers
- Maintain awareness of market price, products specifications and market trends
- Assist the team with various administrative duties including filing and data entry
- Perform Ad-hoc assignments as required

**Your Qualifications**
- Attention to detail/Organizational skills - most warehouse receivers work in fast-paced environments. It is important to multitask well under pressure while paying close attention to shipment details, record maintenance, invoice tracking and order discrepancies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Outlook and Access)
- Good communication and time management skills
- Good command of written and spoken English; an additional second language
- Problem-solving skills - warehouse receivers are natural problem-solvers, as shipments often have issues that result in the need to research, escalate, and resolve issues effectively

**OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Warehouse experience would be an asset
- Forklift operator’s license (preferred)

**Salary**

$18-$22/hour

**Job Type**

Full-time, Monday-Friday.
