**Job description**

**Alberta Aggregates Ltd. provides custom aggregate crushing and screening services in Southern Alberta.**

**We are currently looking for a professional and enthusiastic individual to fill a Loader Operator Positions at our Aggregate Crushing Plant.**

**The Position is full-time, working 12 hour night shifts, with work at various locations throughout southern Alberta working an shift of 11 days on with 3 days off.**

**SUMMARY**

**Reporting to the Crushing Plant Manager, the Loader Operator is responsible for operating front end loader for feeding as well as assisting in the general maintenance and operation of the Crushing Plant.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**-**Perform preventative maintenance and service on the crushing plant and front end loader as required.*

**-**Feed material into the crushing plant as required*

**-**Clean and maintain yard*

**-**Communicate with the Crushing Plant Manager to ensure plant is properly maintained and constantly monitored*

**-**Any other duties as required*

**REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE**

**-**Ability to get to work in own vehicle*

**-**Experience operating Skid Steer and Front End Loader*

**-**Comfortable working at heights*

**-**Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 kg on a regular basis.*

**-**Use of Personal Protective Equipment*

**-**Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust*

**-**Willing to work out of town and in remote locations, as required; willing to work night shift, overtime and weekends, as required*
