PRINCIPAL FOCUS:
Under the direction of store management, a Vistek Sales Consultant is responsible for serving the needs of our customers, meeting sales targets and all gross profit driving metrics including but not limited to service plans, accessories and applicable services while providing a best in class customer service experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provision of best in class service to customers
- Meet sales targets through sales and sales related activities
- Follow up with quotes, orders and posted invoices
- Keep sales environment stocked, clean and tidy
- Focus on various Vistek sales programs to enhance sales
- Keep personally up to date on products through Visnet, seminars, web, magazines, discussions with colleagues, membership in associations etc.
- Actively seeks methods to increase his/her client database.
- Create optimal opportunities through:

- Offering attachments and other ‘up-selling’ as appropriate
- Follow up on quotes
- Follow up calls to previous customers
- Keep environment organized, clean and tidy
- Complete other duties, projects and tasks as assigned.
- Provide support to Rentals Department when needed

COMPETENCIES:

- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with all types of people in a positive fashion
- Have an ‘anything for the customer’ attitude
- Ability to advise others on best choices for their production requirements
- Sufficient assertiveness to be able to ask for the sale and close.
- Focused on the end result: meeting sales targets with happy customers
- Focused on continuous learning to stay in touch with latest technology
- Detailed, accurate, while multi-tasking
- Presents a professional image to match the Vistek brand
- Able to lift 30 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Graduate of a recognized post-secondary photographic, video or related program, or relevant experience
- Comfortable working knowledge of top brands
- 1 or more years working in a professional photographic environment
- Competent in Microsoft suite and Mac operating systems
- Comfortable using computerized inventory or other ERP system
- Previous retail experience considered a definite asset
- Videography experience considered an asset
