Miller Waste Systems - Residential/Commercial Driver

**Title**: Residential/Commercial Driver

**Location**: Truro, NS

**Reporting to**: Route Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:
The Residential/Commercial collections driver at Miller Waste Systems is responsible to operate all types of waste collection vehicles to complete various waste stream collection from residential and commercial customers. Collections streams may include recycling, waste, paper/cardboard, and organics from both residential locations and commercial customers.
You will provide customers with reliable and high-quality customer service as the proper disposal of the waste streams are vital to the health and well-being of the residents of the community that you are servicing.

You will collect and transport the various waste streams to local transfer stations, compost facilities or landfill sites in an efficient and appropriate manner. You will do this while adhering to the collection and
delivery schedule while following all relevant policies and procedures of the Company, the DOT, Department of Environment as well as the by-laws of the Municipality in which you are working.

**Requirements**:
You will be required to deal with fellow employees, management, resident and members of the public in
a polite and respectful manner at all times. You must be highly productive and have superior customer services, as you will be the front-line contact with the business customers.

This is a physically demanding role, ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds. Working safely is our number one priority. Employees must comply with all company policies and procedures, including the company’s COVID-19 policies.
