UCH is looking for a full time **Installer, Specialties Division** (Division 10) position. This position requires to travel within BC lower mainland (Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam).
**WHAT’S THE JOB ABOUT?**
Reporting to the On-site Foreperson/Field Installations Manager, the Installer, Specialty Division position is mainly focus in installation in Division 10. The Installer is responsible for the accurate and timely installation of various specialty products within buildings, including washroom partitions, lockers, washroom accessories and other Division 10 specialty construction products
Some of the work you will do, but not limited to:
- Install Division 10 specialty products according to manufacturer specifications and project plans.
- Prepare work areas by ensuring they are clean, safe, and accessible.
- Inspect installed products for quality and ensure they meet project requirements.
- Identify and resolve any installation issues or problems that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of installations and any issues that may arise.
- Provide technical support to customers
- Other duties as assigned
**WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS**:
- Minimum high school diploma.
- 4 - 5 years of experience working in the construction environment
- Previous experience in construction or installation work, preferably with Division 10 specialty products.
- Familiar with city/building code (BCBC - Accessibility requirements) is an asset
- Able to work in different environment in the construction site (hot, cold, windy, rainy, snowy, etc.)
- Able to work at heights
- Experience reading and interpreting blue prints or drawings
- Excellent physical condition and coordination to be able to do repetitive and heavy lifting
- Strong communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Required to have you own basic hand/power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Vehicle (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
