**About us**

We are a brand new restaurant opening up on 17th ave. Our theme is horoscopes and astrology, we have fibre optic ceilings with planets and shooting stars, themed decor and special events. Our food is an Italian/ Indian fusion all prepared by our master chef. We are looking to hire full time and part time servers as we expect to be very busy in the next few months we also have the only rooftop patio on 17th ave. This fall we will also be promoting alot of special events such as halloween parties, NHL, christmas parties, etc. There will be lots of room to grow in our company We look forward to meeting you

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated Beverage Server to join our team. As a Beverage Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking and delivering beverage orders, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized beverage service area.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers warmly and take their beverage orders promptly
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Ensure accuracy in order taking and delivery to meet customer expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and workstations
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated or underage customers
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
- Upsell additional beverages or menu items to increase sales revenue
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for timely service
- Adhere to food safety standards, proper handling procedures, and sanitation regulations

**Requirements**:

- Atleast 1 year experience in the food industry, hospitality, or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Basic understanding of bartending techniques is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
