**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Co-ordinate special events and also determine the size of food portions and costs.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
- Order supplies and equipment, and also supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas and manage kitchen operations.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in roles related to food service or meal preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food in a kitchen environment.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in restaurant settings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- or equivalent experience

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Pay: $34.50 per hour
