The HR Assistant will continue their education through hands on experience. You will have the opportunity to assist with various Human Resources procedures and policies, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, on-boarding, compliance, and various administrative tasks.

Must have completed post secondary education in Human Resources, or Business Administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Provides general support in Human Resources administration department
- Maintains strict confidentiality of all information obtained, written or verbal, within the Human Resources Department
- Assist with the recruiting and selection process for new employees (conducting pre-screen telephone interviews, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews with management)
- Post jobs on internal and external career sites
- Performs various HR activities such as updating company policies and job descriptions, and maintaining communication boards
- Assists in the onboarding of new employees as required
- Assist with internal communication postings
- Performs special projects as assigned and other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed post secondary education in Human Resources, or Business Administration
- Personable and reliable.
- High level of energy and self-confidence.
- A strong work ethic and sense of commitment
- Proficient in Google Workspace & Microsoft
- Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills
