**Summary**:
This is a **Permanent-Full Time **position that will work out of our Environmental division in** Mississauga, ON.**

**Duties include**:

- Perform basic lab procedures according to established SOP’s.
- Calibrate, operate, maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment.
- Perform sample, reagent and calibration standard preparation.
- Provide general lab support including washing glassware, cleaning work stations and waste disposal.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety policies.
- Keep accurate and up to date records.
- Report results.
- Follow all SOPs and QC procedures.
- Meet quality assurance and turnaround time specifications.
- Other administrative/laboratory tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Technical Diploma or Degree required.
- 1-2 years laboratory experience
- Basic Computer Skills
- Ability to work in a positive manner in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use a pH meter, auto pipettor, syringes, GC and HPLC (preferably, not required)
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment
- Hand-Eye coordination and attention to detail
- Mature work ethic
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Problem solving, communication, organization, and time management
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds on a consistent basis and perform work in a hot environment.
- Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) would be an asset.
- Experience with ERS (Environmental Support System) would be an asset.
