As a Materials Technology Field and Laboratory Technician you will carry out geotechnical site inspection and laboratory testing services for various construction projects within Toronto and surrounding area.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:
As a Materials Technology Laboratory Technician you will carry out geotechnical and construction material laboratory testing services from various construction projects across Ontario.

**The laboratory work will included**:

- Testing of soil, aggregate, asphalt and concrete samples (building materials) to determine engineering properties. This will include standard proctor testing, grain size analysis, determination of moisture content, compressive strength testing of concrete cylinders.
- Depending on prior experience and knowledge, you may provide support to higher complexity soil, asphalt, aggregate and concrete lab departments.

**Qualifications**:

- Enrolled in a civil, geotechnical or engineering program
