**About the position**:
Currently, we are looking for a dedicated **Jr. Project Manager **to join our Security Division in **Victoria, BC**.

Depending on experience, this person will assist with or plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project(s) they are working on. This person works diligently to ensure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, utilizing the supports within the organization to assist.

**Junior Project Manager Job Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate aspects of the construction process, including RFI's, procurement, scheduling, commissioning, O&M manuals.
- Coordinate project communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- With support from management, develop project schedules, review contracts, estimate changes, purchase materials and equipment and manage the project financial performance.
- Develop / assemble start-up submittals and other project documentation.
- You may also engage with contractors, engineers, architects and vendors.
- Work with foreman and site superintendents to review the project documents and discuss labour requirements and staffing.
- Work with the Safety Manager, on-site team to ensure safety on site is our #1 priority.

**Experience and Skills**:

- 1+ years of previous project manager or estimating experience in a related industry. Will also consider those with project coordinating experience.
- Relevant education or experience with security systems (access control, CCTV and intrusion detection).
- Experience in healthcare environment a strong asset.
- Training or Courses in Project Management & Estimating considered an asset.
- Ability to create a detailed project schedule.
- High proficiency in MS Office. Experience with AutoCAD, Accubid, MS Project, are an asset.
- You must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be team player with good interpersonal and English communication skills.
