The Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce is looking for a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment to join our small but mighty team as a **Business Programs & Support Intern.**This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain valuable experience in event planning, member engagement, project support, and office administration.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- **Project Assistance**:

- Provide support on key projects such as our national accreditation submission and other internal initiatives.
- **Database Maintenance**

Keep our member records up-to-date and accurate in our database system.
- **Member Outreach**
- **Event Support**:

- **Digitization of Historical Files**
- A proactive, detail-oriented individual who takes initiative and enjoys working as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with a wide range of people
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs and willing to learn internal systems
- Organized, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple tasks with shifting priorities
- Must be between **15-30 years of age** at the start of employment
- Preference will be given to students in **Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, and Political Sciences programs**:

- This is a **10-week placement**, paid at **$18/hour**:

- **35 hours per week**, with some evening availability required for events (hours adjusted accordingly)
- The Chamber office is closed and staff are paid for the following statutory holidays:

- Canada Day

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2.5 months

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
