**The Opportunity**: The Employment Advisor reports to the Manager of Employment Services and works within the Student Job Centre. The incumbent is the first point of contact for student employment inquiries, employer / community postings, workshop requests from faculty, resume and cover letter development. The incumbent maintains a strong connection the Employment Solutions staff to support College students and grads with employment needs.

**What you need to be successful**:

- Minimum 2-year diploma in business, human studies, human resources or related field
- Minimum two years of experience in a post-secondary environment related to field of employment
- Knowledge or experience of Indigenous culture is an asset
- Ability to thrive in a busy, multi-tasking environment while serving students
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Excellent computer skills (Office 365, various social media platforms)
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

This is an Appendix D support staff vacancy, Payband D - $25.86-$29.96/hour (starting rate $25.86/hour), 35 hours/week, required for 6 months.
