Our company is looking for a passionate and dynamic **CNC Machinist** to join our team

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to independently setup and operate large CNC Horizontal Milling and or Vertical machining Centers.
- Machine products to specified requirements as defined on blueprints and drawings.
- Pre-inspection of parts to ensure product compliance is achievable.
- Ensure tooling requirements are met in advance of the start of each job.
- Ability to read and understand programs to a degree that will allow you to adjust / modify programs.
- Maintain tooling conditions.
- Verify dimensions of parts machined.
- General housekeeping of work area to maintain safe work environment.
- Perform daily machine checks to maintain safe work environment.
- Preference will be given to afternoon shift from 3:30pm -11:30pm.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years experience on CNC large horizontal **OR** Vertical Machining Centers.
- Experience with machine setup & operation of mills.
- Programming with MasterCam X9 an asset.
- Programming and CNC machine tooling set up experience.
- Metal Fabrication experience.
- Experience machining Weldments.
- General machinist certification.
- Work with large complex & fabricated components, where material variation and conditions require an analytical approach to machining of the product.
- Experience with Haas & Fanuc controllers.
- Able to read and interpret blue print drawings.
- Fluent in English.
- GD&

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
