**Junior Network Administrator**

The Junior Network Administrator is responsible for providing Information Technology (IT) system support services across the organization. He or she will assist with IT project management, resource management, software management hardware installation and maintenance, troubleshooting and communicating with all users of the Drive Products technology infrastructure. He or she may be required to assist with IT strategic planning, as well as identifying, selecting and deploying new technology to support organizational goals and objectives.
- Assist with the planning, deployment, and management of all IT services, programs, and support throughout the enterprise.
- Provide internal IT support (server security, software updates, hardware maintenance, ERP (MS Dynamics Great Plains, etc.).
- Assist with the implementation, deployment and operation of information systems and technology solutions for business needs.
- Assist senior management with the direction and facilitation of IT strategic and tactical planning.
- Research, design, and implement the appropriate technologies to support and improve corporate communications, access to information, and end-user productivity as directed.
- Oversee project management for IT-related undertakings, including clear capture of business requirements, provision of functional deliverables, milestone planning, and project post mortems.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition of technology purchases; oversee warranties and service agreements.
- Stay informed on new or emerging trends and technologies that provide clear benefits to the organization, business partners, and/or customers.
- Create and deliver business cases for technology acquisitions.
- Create status reports as required; present findings to senior management.
- Plan end-user training as required.
- Act as an advocate for the IT department and its initiatives.
- Participate in training provided
- Compliance with all internal Policy and Procedures including, but not limited to, Health and Safety and Quality Management
- Compliance with all regional legislation including Occupational Health and Safety
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications - Educational Requirements**
- Post Secondary education in IT or equivalent combination of education/training
- 1+ years of experience in similar IT role preferred.

**Qualifications - Knowledge**
- Overall knowledge of networking, operating system, and server architectures
- Good overall knowledge of programming concepts, software development cycles, and associated tools and platforms
- Knowledge of applicable IT laws and regulations

**Skills**
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with VPN networks, firewalls, encryption, and other aspects of network security technologies.
- Highly effective project management skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and theories to non-technical audiences.
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong negotiation, customer service and troubleshooting skills.

**Working Conditions -** On site

Must be able to attend and conduct presentations / training. During certain periods, may experience high volumes of activities as per the responsibilities listed above. Overtime or irregular hours may be required as deemed operationally necessary

Pay range : 60,000 - 65,000.

60,000 for the first few months of work.

63,000 - 65,000 after the first 3 months review based on performance.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
