**What you will be doing**:
**kitchen and dining room**:

- prep work for the cook, assist the cook in keeping on schedule
- receive shipments and restock, clean and organize fridges
- clean and prepare the dining room for meals
- wash dishes and appliances
- complete opening and closing procedures in the work zone
- any other appropriate activity

**Housekeeping**:

- Maintain a regularly schedule program to CC’s standards to ensure the building is clean and maintained, reporting deficiencies and repairs as needed
- maintain equipment used and record appropriately
- cleaning of the work zone: dust, vacuum, clean entrances, washrooms, work rooms, exteriors, putting out the garbage and recycling, etc

Between groups:

- bedmaking to CC standards,
- cleaning guest area bedrooms, washrooms, public areas, and exterior porches,
- seasonal cleaning and regular maintenance
- any other appropriate activity

**Laundry**:

- Distribute/collect bed linen and house linen according to schedule
- Pre-treat, wash, ford/, iron and return to storage
- Arrange pick-up/delivery when laundromat services used
- Ensure all bed/house linen is in place prior to each activity
- Maintain equipment used

**Your experience and skills include**:

- Ability to multi-task efficiently
- Strong communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Able to use common equipment and appliances safely (such as commercial dishwasher)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable means of transportation
