**FORKLIFT OPERATOR POSITION**

Shipping and Receiving opportunity in a fast-paced industrial coating environment, experience preferred. Skills preferred are forklift experience, safety orientated, able to work independently and with a team, very organized, accepts feedback, strong work-ethic, good written and verbal communication.

**Forklift Operator**:

- have opportunity to grow; WHIMIS, Forklift Certificate, Fall Zone Protection.
- All powder coating teachings, industrial training done in house and have opportunity for advancement._

**Job Type**:Full-time **Shift Availability**:Day Shift

**Schedule**: 5 - 8-hour shifts - Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 2:30pm

**Tasks and Responsibilities of a Forklift Operator - **Knowing theEmployee Handbook Policies and Procedures**, **Ensuring Workspaces are Clean & Tidy**, **conducting daily Forklift Inspections and reporting directly to Maintenance personnel, Cooperating with OHS committee to uphold safety standards**. **Following designated tasks and direction from the Shipper Receiver, Team Leads and Supervisors.Loading and Unloading Trucks and Trailers while ensuring product is received in a safe and efficient manner, and addressing any concerns on arrival, putting away and storing product in a neat and organized manner, aiding in the day to day operations in the shop, transporting jobs to location within the shop, organization of the shop and yard, ensuring jobs are packaged correctly as per standard for shipping, identifying and correcting any concerns with said packaging, and ensuring the proper shipping labels are accurate and clearly visible.

**Equipment Used by a Forklift Operator**:

- Safety Glasses, Ear Protection, Work Boots, Knife, Pliers, Crane, Cutting Saw, Steel Banding, Power Tools (Grinder/Sander), Hanging Hooks/Chains, Burn Off Oven, Pallet Jack (Motorized/Non-Motorized), Hoist, Hard Hat, and Bander/Banding, Forklift, and Truck.

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
