- We are seeking a **Labourer** in our machine shop.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Disassembly of large industrial bearings
- Bearing repair assessments
- Grinding and polishing of bearing components
- Assembly of repaired bearings
- Assist machinists and mechanics by cleaning machines, parts, and areas
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineered drawings
- Run variety of machines including slotters and hob sharpening machines
- Understand tool limitations and controls during operation
- Operate machines within tight tolerances and knowledge of feeds and speeds
- Measure precisely utilizing calipers and maintaining specifications
- Operate overhead crane and forklift
- Maintain equipment and ensures work area is clean and safe at all times.
- Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects under the direction of the team leader.

**Qualifications**
- Education_
- High school education or G.E.D
- Competencies_
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Mechanical inclination
- Aptitude for working with hand and power tools, equipment, and machines
- Reliable track record at previous employment
