**Position**:Jr. IT Systems Administrator, Infrastructure & Technical Services
**Location**:Victoria, BC.
**_Salary Range:_** $61,500 - $78,300
**Duties & Responsibilities **(will be trained):
- First line investigation, troubleshooting and resolving incidents, problems and updating tickets appropriately within defined service level agreements (SLA)
- Analyze and resolve incidents in a timely manner to minimize downtime to all clients while coordinating and communicating with impacted stakeholders
- Installing new software releases, evaluating and installing patches
- Manage installs, configuration and monitoring of servers
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather and validate support requirements
- Deploying servers and it's required services
**Skills & Qualifications **(a plus but not required):
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting a wide range of desktop hardware and software
- Excellent written, oral, and telephone communication skills
- Knowledge of computer workstation setup
- Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
**Personal Attributes**:
- Strong customer service mindset
- Team player able to work under pressure
- Strong learning aptitude
- Able to communicate in user-friendly language
- Able to lift at least 50lbs.
