Heritage Christian Online School (HCOS) is a K-12 Provincial Online Learning School providing fully accredited Christian education to students in BC. HCOS Education Assistants are independent contractors who are resourceful and innovative educators, providing student support to Home Learners within the Inclusive Education Department.

We are looking for two dynamic Education Assistants to work with four students on Mon/Wed, and Fri from 9 - 12 in a home setting. You will support students with grade 5/6 academics, focusing on Math & Language Arts. There will also be opportunities to support students in community activities and life skills. Specific training in Inclusive Education, such as an Education Assistant certificate or equivalent, is preferred. Experience supporting students with FASD and PDA required. Additional hours supporting other home learners are available.

**Duties & Responsibilities Include**:

- Provide the social, spiritual, and academic learning needs of students, providing mentorship to the whole person
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support delivery of personalized learning opportunities
- Support IEP goals

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $23.50-$27.58 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 20 per week

Work Location: In person
