**Who are We?**

Trim Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company that provides commercial and large-scale high-end residential and landscaping services in Nova Scotia. We are continually growing and are looking to add a Landscape/Handscape Foreman to our team in Bedford We have done many premier maintenance and design-build landscape projects in NS like Argyle and Spring Garden streets, Queen’s Marque and Peggy Cove’s Viewing Deck.

**Who are You?**

You are an experienced hardscaper, landscaper and/or horticulturalist willing to lead and train a crew. You are very comfortable running a softscape or hardscape project from start to finish with limited direction from your manager. You are experienced with basic excavation, grading/layout, gravel base installation/compaction and installation of pavers and retaining walls and/or experienced in grading and laying sod/seed, planting trees and installing a garden bed. You don’t mind a long hard day of slugging it with your crew.

More importantly, you are driven individual looking to grow and be a part of moving a business forward. You are trustworthy so that you can take on tasks and projects within your team with limited supervision. You are able to solve problems and willing to make a decision even if it’s a mistake. You are willing to work outside of your everyday tasks and responsibilities when the team needs you.

You need a valid driver’s license, to be experienced in operating equipment and at least 3 years’ of experience in landscape construction.

**What will you do?**

Day-to-day you will be working with a crew of 2-3 people completing a variety of projects that could include laying pavers, planting trees, building retaining walls, pouring concrete or constructing a deck throughout NS. You will work directly with a project manager to troubleshoot grading, layout, scheduling and major issues with site and customers. In the winter, your team may vary based on route with snow removal. You are the right-hand to the crew leader with whatever tasks need completion.
