**About Us**
Supporting the youth of today to be the makers of tomorrow, MiniMakers is an educational centre focused on developing valuable life skills involving a variety of age-appropriate and safe creative activities. Turning their imaginations into reality, our makers use child-safe woodworking equipment, various production tools (including software design tools) and a wide range of decorative approaches to produce both practical and artistic items. The skills they develop support growth in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) while also building an “I can do it” mentality with real world outcomes. Our makers build creativity, confidence and skill, all the while having a lot of fun

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day operations of the studio, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, utilizing in house software's to ensure efficient operations of the studio.
- Assist in the hiring, training, and supervision of instructors, drivers, and administrative staff as needed.
- Ensure all office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained in good working order.
- Conduct trial classes for clients to showcase our programs and bring in new students.
- Implement organizational systems to enhance workflow efficiency within the studio.
- Perform proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism in all communications.
- Utilize Google Suite for documentation, scheduling for pickups and staff, and communication purposes.
- Support any additional administrative tasks as required to facilitate smooth operations.
- Answer technical questions from parents and staff regarding programs.
- Increase capacity of classroom by conducting trial classes to sign-up new students.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in an office management role or similar position; experience in a educational office setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent phone etiquette with strong interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately; familiarity with clerical duties is preferred.
- Attention to detail with strong proofreading capabilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Sales experience in closing deals is a plus.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
