**INTRODUCTION**

The Paid Social Specialist - Audience & Optimization will focus on developing and executing paid social media advertising campaigns for LoKnow’s clients across a wide variety of platforms. This role specifically focuses on paid media, requiring deep expertise in campaign setup, optimization, and audience targeting within platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, Reddit, Snapchat, TikTok, and Pinterest. Reporting to the Manager - Audience & Optimization, the Paid Social Specialist will support cross-functional teams with strategic input and technical execution, and contribute to LoKnow’s internal knowledge base.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plans, builds, optimizes, and reports on paid social media advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, Reddit, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms
- Collaborates with Client Success to support campaign strategy and ensure alignment with client goals
- Provides data-driven recommendations and strategic insights on audience targeting, creative testing, and bidding strategies
- Contributes to LoKnow’s best practices and training documentation related to paid social advertising
- Troubleshoots campaign delivery and platform-related issues, escalating to vendors or leadership as necessary
- Meets with social media vendors to stay up to date on new product offerings and creative best practices
- Participates in client meetings to represent the A&O department’s expertise
- Other duties as required
- 2-4 years of experience managing paid social advertising campaigns
- Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and experience with additional platforms such as LinkedIn Ads, Reddit Ads, Snapchat Ads, TikTok Ads, and Pinterest Ads
- Understanding of social media bidding strategies, attribution models, and audience targeting techniques and the differences between each tool
- A degree, diploma, or certificate in marketing or digital advertising
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with critical thinking and independent research abilities.
- Demonstrates effective time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Experience with project management tools, Google Drive and Slack is an asset
