The company is ISO 9001 - 14001 certified and a member of the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC). - Hand-add station - use of a digital scale for purposes of measuring material to ensure quality standards are met - Bagging of cement-based product according to production and quality standards - Manual stacking of product on pallet/production lines - Safe operation of forklift for purposes of storing material - Work safely at all times, adhering to all company safety policies (PPE, lock-out, confined space, safe lifting practices, etc.) - Report any unsafe working conditions, all safety accidents, incidents, and near misses immediately to management - General cleanliness of workstation/plant housekeeping to applicable standards - Additional duties as assigned - Work performed both indoors and outdoors - adaptation required to fluctuations in temperature and weather conditions - Dusty and dirty environment - Uniform provided - Hearing protection required due to loud environment - Handling of various chemicals (i.e. cementitious materials), proper respirator fit and wear required - Substantial repetitive physical effort required - ability to lift up to 30kg - Safely working with or around moving machinery/equipment - Both day and night shifts required - Overtime may be required - Working on a production line in one of several capacities including hand-add station, bagging/stacking product, and packaging/storage of product as required.
