**About the Opportunity**:
The Booking Clerk is responsible for the booking and scheduling of patients for various diagnostic procedures as well as other clinics in a prompt and efficient manner. The Booking Clerk works closely with the DI Department and techs and various other clinics.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Successful completion of Grade XII or equivalent required
- Graduate of a post-secondary secretarial or office administration program or equivalent required
- Successful completion of a recognized Medical Terminology course
- Previous booking experience in a hospital setting would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask
- Demonstrated excellence in prioritization skills with the ability to accomplish tasks within varying time limitations
- Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Must demonstrate a customer focused service which interacts with the public in person and on the telephone in a pleasant, courteous and efficient manner
- Demonstrated ability to function well as a team member is required
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for this position
- Competencies in other languages are an asset, French preferred

$20.09 - $21.90 Hourly
