**Position Overview**

This is a temporary position for approximately 6 months with the possibility to extend or change.

**Accountabilities**:

- Provides exceptional technical support to the branches, departments, and all internal members and escalates issues when necessary
- Follows and adheres to G&F's policies and processes to meet G&F service standards and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Creates new documentation, ensures existing documentation is kept current and consults with other IT team members to ensure documented processes are accurate
- Monitors, maintains, and updates the helpdesk ticketing system
- Assists with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Mobile Device Management Software (MDM) administration
- Assists with procurement and receives shipments of various hardware
- On-site deployment of PCs, laptops, mobile phones and various IT devices at different locations
- Maintains and updates the IT inventory systems
- Assists with maintenance and configuration of various devices and systems such as multi-functional devices (MFDs) and Video Surveillance Systems
- Updates G&F’s Microsoft Active Directory (AD), including login scripts and AD Group Policies
- Implements changes and maintains standards on PCs and laptops that improve security by working with the Security Specialist (IE. Windows hardening standards)
- Works closely with other IT staff on technical issues to ensure high quality technical end-user support within the organization and its subsidiaries

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Information Technology
- 1-3 years’ related experience, ideally in a small to medium-sized organization. Experience in a credit union or other financial institution is an asset
- Experience in Microsoft Windows environment required
- MCSE or other IT Certifications are an asset
- Equivalent combination of the above may be appropriate
- Aptitude for solving problems and understanding IT security
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- Ability to provide in-person support at the head office and travel to branches as needed
