This position will be part of our Printing Sector. As the largest printer in Canada & one of the largest in North-America, you will join a team that is committed to helping everyone excel and reach their goals. The Print division has over 3,700 employees & 13 state-of-the-art print plants.
**About this opportunity**
Reporting to the Kitting Manager, the Kitting Department Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of one or two kitting lines.
**What you will do**
- Print all required job documents (job jackets, labels, packing slips);
- Collate job documents per docket;
- Assign daily jobs to Line Leads with the assistance of Kitting Manager;
- Help locate/set up printed product for Kitting Lines;
- Communicate with CSR’s on missing job requirements;
- Calculate box requirements for upcoming jobs;
- Update daily kitting list on job completion;
- Attend daily Scheduling meetings as assigned by Kitting Manager;
- Work effectively with team to ensure and maintain quality, accuracy and productivity throughout the production shift;
- Receive a‎nd validate counts for Kitting;
- Ensure packing slips are followed for each locations kit;
- Order necessary supplies, boxes, tape and labels;
- Ensure product quality and packaging is appropriate and completed in a timely fashion;
- Assist and offer ideas that will help the Kitting Team improve their overall performance;
- Monitor the performance of employees & provide feedback for the review process;
- Identify & make recommendations regarding skills requirements;
- Work overtime hours as required;
- Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.

**What you have to offer**
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent;
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Kitting Line Lead;
- Strong capability to work with management on all levels within the organization and harmoniously within a team environment is required;
- Exceptional attention to detail and good command of the English language (read, write, speak) with respect to:

- Understanding and following all verbal and written instructions;
- Completing paperwork and requisitioning of materials accurately and efficiently;
- Complying with safety procedures and processes;
- Effective communication skills: internal and external customers;
- Strong skills in problem identification and solution-oriented problem solving
- Physical ability to lift up to 20lbs unassisted;
- Ability to work independently and harmoniously within in a team environment;
- Well organized, proactive and positive approach in the work place.
