**DISPATCH ASSISTANT**

We are currently looking for **DISPATCH ASSISTANT** in our office.

**Overview: Dispatch Assistant**

An assistant-Dispatcher works is responsible for coordinating outgoing/incoming shipments and ensuring the accuracy of all shipping documentation.

Position requires an individual who is organized, and a team player. Must possess great communication and customer service skills. Must be able to perform under pressure of time constraints and multitask. Must be able to work occasional weekends.

**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to**:

- Provide administrative assistance to Dispatchers
- Update customers regularly.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast pace multifaceted environment
- Must possess organizational skills
- Position requires an effective communicator written and verbal.
- Monitors daily shipment workplan to ensure orders are shipped and received on time.
- Dispatches Domestic/International loads.
- Track drivers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Receives and handles customers inquires and complaints

**Required Qualifications**:

- Strong analytical skills, with innovative problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn new software, upgrades, and procedures
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office.
- Effective and professional communications, customer service and teamwork skills dealing with internal and external customers
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:
