Job description

Are you fluent in French language? Are you looking for a rewarding part-time teaching position in Burlington, Ontario? ICan Education - Burlington is seeking a French Language Teacher to support students, in grades 1 - 12, with their development of French literacy at ICan Education learning centre. Classes are in person one-on-one and/or in small group sessions held at the learning centre.

**Job Duties**
- Teacher will help students' develop French language skills at the learning centre based on Ontario curriculum requirements.
- Lessons are held in person at the ICan Education learning centre in Burlington.
- Teach elementary and high school students
- Assess students’ abilities and help modify lessons according to students' needs
- Complete periodic reporting, attend meetings, and training as required
- Participate in students review sessions

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- OCT Teacher is preferred
- Experience with SAT and/or SSAT
- Experience working with students with learning challenges
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Knowledge of Ontario Curriculum related to English language and math

**Additional Notes**
- Classes are from Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Burlington, Ontario. Hours may change as needed.
- Allows teachers to gain and maintain teaching experience.
