**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate hydrovac trucks for safe excavation of underground utilities.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular checks and basic maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to plan excavation projects and ensure efficient operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on-site to minimize risks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding project status and any issues that arise.
- Assist in training new operators as needed.

**Skills**
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
- Experience with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL).
- Ability to build rapport with team members and clients through effective communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
