**Overview**

Reporting to the Foreman, the **Hydrovac Operator **is responsible for providing quality services for all the projects assigned. Due to the expansion of our business, we are seeking a highly motivated and energetic workers to join our growing company

**Job Duties**:

- Safely and efficiently operate Hydrovac equipment for daylighting and soft excavation as required
- Care for and maintain company equipment to company standards
- Complete daily inspections and correct or report all defects immediately
- Practice proper, legal load securement
- Fill and empty Hydrovac in appropriate and approved areas
- Adhere to all NLU policies and procedures
- Maintain a positive public image of the company while complying with all NLU PPE requirements

**Qualifications**:

- **Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with air endorsement**:

- Driver's abstract (Not more than 1-month-old)
- Own vehicle to come to work and a functional phone
- Ability to drive standard is an asset
- Experience as a Hydrovac Operator is an ass**et**

**Work Conditions**:

- Flexible work schedule to accommodate production needs
- Ability to work out of town, if required
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 75 pounds), working in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
- Must be living in Canada to apply

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
