**Job Summary**

This position will operate production machinery and production workstations, including assembly and quality inspection of the products. This position will also complete general production tasks as required by their supervisor or manager.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited:

- Operate production equipment and machinery
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Monitor status of inventory and maintain clean work environment
- Perform product quality inspections at workstation
- Complete assembly and sub-assembly of parts
- Track and record part, material, and product numbers
- Lifting and moving of product and feeding and removing product from machine
- General labour and maintenance cleaning tasks as required

**Education and Responsibilities**
- High School Diploma
- Background working with mechanical equipment in a hands on role
- Experience in Machine Operator position an asset
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment an asset

**Competencies**
- Strong mechanical skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic understanding of quality specifications
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision in a team environment
- Hours of work 8hr days or afternoons or 12 hr continental.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.50 per hour
