**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of foods, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
- Follow recipes and menu plans while adhering to portion control guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, including regular cleaning of equipment and tools.
- Monitor food temperatures and ensure all food safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with dietary aides and kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service during peak hours.
- Handle food items safely, following proper food handling procedures at all times.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a cook or similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong culinary skills with proficiency in cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
