**Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate Personal Caregiver(s) to provide support to an elder couple in need of assistance with daily living activities. The job requires a person (or persons) to live in the home. Cooking and cleaning are required as well as helping an elder wheelchair bound woman with going to the washroom and getting in/out of bed.

Ideally we would like to hire 2 people to work a 4 day on/off schedule, but can hire 1 person if willing to work at least 5 or 6 days/week.

Vulnerable Criminal record check and references will be required (no exception to this).

Pay will be based on senior care experience and the person having their own liability insurance and WCB. Living accommodations will be provided.

If you have you're own insurance and 2+ years experience in senior care, we will pay $30 to $35/hour for 12 hours/day. Wage is negotiable.

**Duties**
- Assist client with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide support with mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, ensuring all areas are tidy and organized.
- Document daily care activities and report any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with homecare to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

**Qualifications**
- Clean class 5 driver license; provide 3 year driver abstract. Drive to buy groceries and pick up medications.
- Previous experience senior caregiving is required. At least 1 year experience is mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A caring attitude with a focus on enhancing the well-being of others.
- Minimum Basic First Aid certification is mandatory.
- Knowledge of household cleaning and food preparation skills are preferred.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week
