Look no further Holman has an outstanding opportunity for a Summer Internship in our Finance Department based in our Mississauga Head Office, beginning May until the end of August.

The Finance Department at Holman is a group of energetic and motivated individuals. The Intern will report to the Supervisor - Finance. As a member of the Finance Department, the Intern will be responsible for a variety of projects & initiatives within the Department. Essential to the position are skills in Excel, Microsoft Windows, Word, and PowerPoint.

What will you do?

Develop your skills and reach your potential by being part of an exceptional team of professionals, stepping outside your comfort zone, and learning about the evolving automotive industry;
Be part of a Finance team responsible for the accurate and timely reporting for an entity with over 200,000 managed vehicles;
Assist with various month-end and quarter-end reporting;
Review current processes with an eye towards efficiency, and create process documentation;
Provide information (including various reports and insight) to Finance and other departments;
Assist with the insurance certificate process;
Prepare account reconciliations as assigned; and

Assist in the preparation of journal entries.

What are we looking for?

Must be currently enrolled in at least second year of college or university study program;
Must be a self-starter with a strong desire to learn;
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; and
