**We are seeking a full time Maintenance/Plumber to work Monday through Friday with weekly evening shifts once a month. There may be the occasional evening shift to meet the demands of the business.**

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Work under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and take lead on maintenance and plumbing projects

2. Regular maintenance tasks will include plumbing, wood work, metal work, dry wall, paint, floor repairs, lighting and construction activities; within in-house capabilities

3. Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, water treatment, and boiler systems

4. Inspect and test fire protection systems

5. Repair of leaks around the facility, including the boiler room

6. Respond and assist in grounds keeping, snow removal, indoor pool management, and ice maintenance

7. Maintain shop equipment and inventory and request replacement inventory

8. Assist with pick-ups and deliveries of Club material

9. Ensure all health, safety and security procedures are adhered to

**Knowledge & Skills Required**

1. Minimum intermediate skills in the safe usage of power tools (e.g. drills, saws) in a commercial capacity

2. Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail

3. Demonstrated strong construction related technical knowledge

4. Ability to plan and prioritize work

5. Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills

6. Committed team player and ability to work with minimum supervision

7. Due to the physicality of this role,

a. Ability to carry at least 30 kilos at shoulder height 50 metres

b. Climb ladders up to five metres high

c. Finger dexterity to manipulate tool attachments and equipment parts

8. Valid Class 4 or 5 Power Engineering Certificate an asset

9. Valid Plumber or Gasfitter Journeyperson Certificates an asset

10. Minimum two years related experience in building maintenance

11. Current Alberta Driver’s license with a clean abstract
