Reporting to the Manager of Tourism, Culture & Sport, the Tourism Marketing and Outreach Assistant is a summer student position that will support Tourism Brantford's destination marketing and regional outreach activities. This position will assist the Tourism Marketing Coordinator with social media scheduling, blog writing, e-newsletters, updating the Discover Brantford website, tracking and reporting on media statistics, assisting with media FAM tours and planning for the 2024-25 Visitor Guide. This position will also attend outreach events on behalf of Tourism Brantford to ensure that residents and visitors are aware of the wide range of attractions and events happening in Brantford.

**Qualifications**:

- Applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution preferably in a tourism or marketing field of study and returning to school in the fall.
- This position also requires exceptional customer service and the ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
